John A. Kolvoord

A Geology Junior at the University of Texas at Austin, is from Austin. While growing up, his favorite vacation activity was crawling through mine tailings, searching for Pyrites, which his "devious parents" would tell him was Gold. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He completed a Field Geology course in the summer of 2004 and is currently taking courses in Paleobiology and Mountain Geomorphology. He has hopes to pursue a career in the Oil & Gas industry.
