Melissa A. Halick

A Geology Junior at the University of Texas at Austin, is from Katy, Texas. Transferred from the University of Houston to University of Texas after two semesters of Geology and began working for Dr. Carlson in metamorphic petrology research. Current research project is analysis of Calcium and Magnesium percentages in Calcium rich and Dolomitic rocks to calculate peak temperatures during metamorphism. She plans to attain her Master's degree and possibly pursue a Doctorate.
