    For $.50 you can tour our display of fluorescent rocks and minerals. See if you can guess what changes will happen!
  • Touch Table
    Imagine a table full of rocks and minerals that YOU CAN TOUCH. That’s right, a table full of rocks and minerals that can be touched with a volunteer ready to answer any questions you might have. And this event is free. Stop on by!

Come watch our lapidary art demonstrations on:

  • The exacting science of faceting. Watch “rough” gems as they are transformed into dazzling gem stones
  • Watch as a rough piece of rock is transformed into a beautiful cab
  • Find out how to make a wearable piece of art from an artist at work, wireworking, chainmaile, even polymer clay
