Gem Capers

The Austin Gem and Mineral Society would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your class to our annual gem and mineral show, GEM CAPERS. On Friday, October 24, 2008 the Austin Gem and Mineral Society will open its annual GEM CAPERS at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road, in Austin, Texas. This opening day has always been especially important for introducing the youth of the area to the world of rocks, fossils, gems and minerals. We invite you to bring your class to this event as an earth science field trip. Friday at the Austin Gem and Mineral Society annual gem and mineral show is designated as Education Day.
